I Gained Weight, So I Committed To 30 Days Of Healthy Habits

Over the holidays I gained weight. I decided to commit to 30 days of healthy habits to get back on track.

Protein PB&J Roll Ups
– 40g Kodiak pancake mix
– 1 scoop protein powder
– 50g egg whites
– 50g cashew milk
– sprinkle of cinnamon

*mix until all ingredients are combined.
* pour mixture in to a pan with some oil/ spray on medium high heat.Then move the mixture around to cover the bottom of the entire pan.
* let cook on each side for around 3-4 minutes
* Spread peanut butter and jam on top then roll up.

Cajun Chicken Orzo
– 1/2 cup red onion
– 1/2 cup green pepper
– 1 heap tbs cajun seasoning
– 1/4 cup sun dried tomato
– 1 heap tbs tomato paste
– 1/2 cup orzo
– 1 cup hot chicken broth

* Sautee red onion and green pepper in a pot until a little soft then add your cajun seasoning a mix well
* Add chicken, sundried tomato, tomato paste and orzo to the pot and mix until everything looks evenly coated
* Pour in hot chicken broth, mix together and then cover and let simmer and cook for around 15 minutes or more
* Once cooked add in a slurry of 2tbs cashew milk & 1 tbs corn starch that’s well combined into your pot. this will give it a thick creamy texture.
